New Memorial for our Canadian Hero

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

The new memorial was created by Vancouver artist and author Douglas Coupland, who explained the first of the sculptures is six-feet tall. As “Terry has grown larger than life,” Coupland added it’s fitting the statues increase in size with the final one of Terry, facing west and home to Vancouver, being double life-size.

SIGN MY PETITION

Most IMPORTANTLY we are tolerant and supportive of ALL sexual orientations except sexual orientations who harm others .

The Canadian Broadcast Standards Council said the 1985 song Money for Nothing by British rock band Dire Straits is unacceptable for play on Canadian radio in a ruling released Wednesday, January 12th 2011.

The issue stemmed from a 2010 complaint filed by a listener at Newfoundland radio station OZ FM about the use of the word “faggot” in the song. The person said that “there is absolutely no valid reason for such discriminatory marks to be played on-air.”

The CBSC declared that broadcasting Money for Nothing breaches human rights clauses of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters’ Code of Ethics and Equitable Portrayal Code, because it refers to sexual orientation in a derogatory way.

The hit song appeared on the 1985 album Brothers in Arms, and its original version has been played countless times on the air.

Nick Kee “HATER”

Saturday, January 15th, 2011

HATER: A person that simply cannot be happy for another person’s success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person.

Hating, the result of being a hater, is not exactly jealousy. The hater most times really wants to be the person he or she hates, and is always someone who has no life and has sunk to the lowest form of life, if someone knows Nick Kee “GIVE HIM A HUG FOR ME”
